YOUR TIMESHEET MUST BE ACCURATELY COMPLETED AND SUBMITTED TO THE MORTON GROUP NO LATER THAN NOON ON MONDAY FOLLOWING THE WEEK IN WHICH YOU WORKED. PAYCHECKS ARE READY AT NOON ON FRIDAYS. LATE TIMESHEETS WILL DELAY YOUR PAYCHECK.
FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS TO COMPLETE YOUR TIMESHEET:
- Fill in your complete legal name -- not a nickname.
- Fill in the last four digits of your Social Security Number as a verification of your identification.
- Mark either "Hold Check" or "Mail Check." (If this category is unmarked, your check will be mailed.)
- Fill in the full name and address of the firm for which you worked as a temp.
- Fill in the name of your supervisor at the firm or company for which you worked as a temp.
- Fill in the date for each day you worked during the week. (Example: 01-02-04)
- Record times on your timesheet to the nearest quarter hour. See your policy statement.
- List the time you started work each day.
- List the time you began your lunch break each day.
- List the time you returned from your lunch break each day.
- List the time you left work at the end of each day.
- List the total number of regular hours you worked each day. (All hours worked up to and including 40 hours within one week are considered regular time.)
- List the total number of overtime hours you worked each day. Any overtime hours must be approved by The Morton Group in advance of working overtime.
- Add the hours worked each day and record the total hours here.
- The Morton Group's work week begins Monday at 12:01 a.m. and ends on Sunday at midnight. Fill in Sunday's date as the week ending date.
- Sign your completed timesheet. No check will be issued for an unsigned timesheet.
- Have your completed timesheet signed and dated by the office manager or attorney for whom you worked.
- Mail or deliver the original timesheet to The Morton Group; give the yellow copy to the firm for whom you worked. Keep the pink copy for your files
